Western Stampede Royalty Contest


The Western Stampede Royalty serve as ambassadors for the rodeo and participate in other rodeos and parades to promote the Western Stampede. Applications will be available soon for the Western Stampede Royalty Contest.

Contestants compete for a $1,000 scholarship and prizes including a saddle, tiara, breast collar, banner, belt buckle, and the opportunity to represent the Western Stampede, a West Jordan tradition since 1954.

2024 Royalty Winners


Isabella Lenthe, Raegan Wilson and Victoria Gurlov were crowned your 2024 Western Stampede Royalty!

Isabella Lenthe

Rodeo Queen

Isabella Lenthe, daughter of Mark and Shannon Lenthe, graduated from Morgan High School as the 2024 Dance Sterling Scholar. Accepted into Weber State University’s Nursing program, she aims to earn a bachelor’s degree and later a doctorate to become a licensed nurse practitioner in aesthetics. Isabella is a dance instructor and enjoys mental health horse therapy, working with veterans, playing the violin/fiddle, and using American Sign Language. Passionate about promoting rodeo heritage, she hopes to inspire the next generation of rodeo enthusiasts.

Raegan Wilson

1st Attendant

Raegan Wilson is a sophomore at Bingham High School with a 4.0 GPA. Passionate about horses and the Western way of life, she plans to major in Veterinary Science at Utah State University. Raegan has competed in 4-H equine events for seven years, achieving titles like 2-Handed County Grand Champion and third place in the National Horse Bowl Competition. She also participates in Utah High School Rodeo, excelling in Cutting and Pole Bending. A two-time Varsity Letter Athlete in Swimming, Raegan is also enrolled in the Mandarin Chinese Bridge Program. She recently served as the 1st attendant in the Western Stampede Royalty and aspires to be the Queen of West Jordan’s Western Stampede Rodeo.

Victoria Gurlov

2nd Attendant

Victoria Gurlov, 18, is the daughter of Tim and Yelena Gurlov. Graduating from Mountain Heights Academy, she was a member of the National Honor Society and Hope Squad, and has completed over 600 service hours. Victoria plans to start college this fall. Passionate about leadership, she is a member of the Utah American Legion Auxiliary. Overcoming horse allergies through perseverance, she now rides and works part time at Durango Ranch. She is learning barrel racing and team roping, aiming to be a header. This is her first year trying out for Rodeo Queen Royalty. Victoria enjoys baking, swimming, reading, and, most of all, spending time with horses, her family, coworkers, and friends.
