For $20, you can ride unlimited rides for a day (games and food excluded). Stop by the Finance Department at City Hall to buy and pickup vouchers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until July 3 at 12 p.m. You can exchange the vouchers with wristbands at the carnival’s ticket office on the day you want to attend.
Prices go up to $30 per wristband after July 3, so don’t delay!
Ride tickets and be purchased on an individual basis the day of the event. Also, follow us on Facebook for any updated information.
During the Western Stampede, we will be treated to live entertainment on our Entertainment Stage at Veterans Memorial Park. The posted graphic is the tentative schedule and is subject to change. To signup for the Watermelon or Pie Eating Contest, drop by the city’s information tent (next to the First Aid Tent) at the park during the Stampede.

We’ve designated July 5 as the Wrangler® Tough Enough To Wear Pink™ night. Come showing your support for breast cancer awareness by wearing pink clothing. When purchasing your tickets, you can choose to support and donate to this cause during checkout.

Linda Buttars worked for the City of West Jordan as a Supervisor of the crossing guard program for over 25 years. She was active in the community and served on several committees including the Healthy West Jordan Committee. She was a driving force for the West Jordan Red Run, the title of which was changed to the Linda Buttars Memorial
Fun Run after her passing in 2006.

Bring your family for a night of fun with free inflatables and other activities in the park.
Children’s Parade
Start things off with the Children’s Parade at 3:30 p.m. Children put on a parade for parents and spectators by bringing decorated scooters or bikes and making a lap around a small section of Veterans Memorial Park. The Children’s Parade kicks off at the northeast part of the park. There will be awards for many categories (best decorated, best themed, etc.). The first 100 children will receive a free t-shirt, so arrive early!
Family Fun Night
Following the Children’s Parade, we’ll be having free inflatables, pony rides, police K-9 demonstrations, and fire trucks children. You’ll also be next door to the carnival, food vendors and trucks, the County Library, and the PRCA Rodeo.
Movie in the Park
Family Fun Night activities conclude at 8 p.m. Following the activities, we’ll be holding our movie in the park which will start at dusk. We’ll be screening How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.

You voted! We’ll be showing How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World on July 6 at dusk (usually around 9:15-9:30 p.m.).
The West Jordan Grand Parade will start at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 4. Redwood Road from City Hall to 70th South will be closed at 10:15 AM. 70th South from Redwood Road to 2200 West will be closed as well, so please plan accordingly. Half of the intersection at 70th and Redwood will be open to allow for cars to turn. The roads will reopen after the parade has ended.
We will be treated to an F-35 flyover sometime during the parade, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!
